Collection, processing and use of personal data

2.1 Personal data
Personal data is information about factual or personal circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your name, telephone number, address and all data that you provide to us when you participate in our events.
This does not include aggregated data that we collect, for example, when you visit our website or in the form of counts at events on site, and that cannot be directly linked to your person.

2.2 Collection, processing and use of personal data
We collect, store and process your data for support in advance of and during your participation in our events, including any later warranties, for our services, technical administration and our own marketing purposes. Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties or otherwise transmitted if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing or billing or if you have given your prior consent (for example, we have to pass your name on to a hotel or an airline if you provide the accommodation or transport service through us have booked, but a third company provides the corresponding service). As part of our events, for example, the service providers we use receive the necessary data for order processing. The data passed on in this way may only be used by our service providers to fulfill their task. Any other use of the information is not permitted and is not carried out by any of the service providers entrusted by us. Your personal data will be deleted unless there are statutory retention requirements and if you have asserted a claim for deletion, if the data is no longer required to fulfill the purpose for which it was stored or if its storage is not permitted for other legal reasons.

2.3 Advertising via email
Participants in our events will receive recommendations and information about future events from us after their participation. You will receive these recommendations from us automatically. In this way, we want to send you information about our offer that may be of interest to you based on your participation in past events. In doing so, we strictly adhere to the legal requirements. If you no longer wish to receive recommendations or any more advertising messages from us, you can object to this at any time. A message in text form to the contact details mentioned under item 1 (e.g. e-mail, fax, letter) is sufficient for this. Of course, you will also find an unsubscribe link in every email.

3. Log files
Every time our website is accessed, usage data is transmitted through the respective web browser and stored in log files, the so-called server log files. The stored data records contain the following data: date and time of access, name of the page accessed, IP address, referrer URL (URL of origin from which you came to the website), the amount of data transferred, as well as product and version number the browser used. The IP addresses of the users are deleted or anonymized after 30 days. In the case of anonymization, the IP addresses are changed in such a way that the individual details about personal or factual circumstances can no longer be assigned to a specific or identifiable natural person or only with a disproportionately large amount of time, costs and manpower. We evaluate these log file data records in an anonymized form in order to further improve our website and to find technical errors more quickly.

4. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will only be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; we would like to point out, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
By using eurotournaments.com, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
If you do not wish information about your website visit to be transmitted to Google Analytics, you have the option of installing a "deactivation add-on" for your browser. You can download this add-on at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de download. However, please note that this is currently only available for Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Opera.
Without your express consent, we will not use the tracking tools to collect personal data about you unnoticed, to transmit such data to third-party providers and marketing platforms or to link the data with your personal data (name, address, etc.).

5. Rights of the data subject to information
According to the Federal Data Protection Act, you have the right to free information about your stored data and, if necessary, the right to correct, block or delete data. We take the protection of your data very seriously. In order to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to third parties, please send your request by email or post to the address given under point 1.
