The Dana Cup in Hjørring is the third largest youth tournament in Europe and attracts several 10,000 children, young people and adults every year. Since 1982, the Dana Cup has transformed the small Danish town into an absolute football stronghold for six days a year. Be there when an entire city is in the grip of football fever and celebrate a huge football festival of a very special kind with teams from all over the world. In the meantime, the finals are broadcast live to the whole world so that all the fans back home can join in the excitement.

Tournament facility
The participating teams are active on several different sports facilities. Each of these sports facilities has very well-maintained grass and artificial turf pitches and there is a great atmosphere at the facilities. Buses run between the different sports facilities throughout the week, so that all teams can move from facility to facility on site.

Hjørring is located in the very north of Denmark in the Nordjylland region and, with around 25,000 inhabitants, has about as many inhabitants as guests who are attracted to the tranquil little town every year by the Dana Cup. The tournament exudes a very special atmosphere within the town, where locals and guests from all over the world celebrate a colourful football festival for almost a week. From Hjørring, you are only a few minutes' drive to the North Sea on Denmark's north-west coast, and one of the country's largest amusement parks, Fårup Sommerland, is only half an hour's drive from the tournament venue.
